Welcome to the 2nd Annual Blog-A-Thon, blogging twenty-four hours straight to help save the animals of Best Friends Animal Society!

Who is this for? 

Much like last year when I raised $545 for Best Friends Animal Society, I will once again be blogging to help them save animals throughout the country!  As the Blog-A-Thon commences, you will find multiple posts about the work they do and just how wonderful of an organization they are.

What exactly is a Blog-A-Thon?

A Blog-A-Thon is quite like other "thons" you might be familiar with.  Walk-A-Thon, Read-A-Thon, Dance-A-Thon, etc.  I will be relying on the support of my generous donors who choose to donate a set amount of money to go directly to Best Friends Animal Society!  There will be twenty-four blog posts made and each one is uniquely different that can help teach everyone about Best Friends Animal Society!  Throughout this time there will be giveaways to hand out prizes to anyone who donates at least $5 to my cause.

When will this shindig take place?

Blog-A-Thon will officially get underway at 8:00 AM on Saturday, August 3rd and will conclude at 8:00 AM on Sunday, August 4th.

Right here on this very blog! :)  

Okay, so this seems pretty awesome.  How may I donate?

First of all, thank you!  To donate to Best Friends Animal Society, simply go to the First Giving widget on the top left side of my blog page.  They will walk you through the easy and SAFE steps to donate!  The website is safe and secure and any donation you make, no matter how small, is tax deductible.  I will receive a notification when anyone donates!

Did I hear that correctly?  Prizes?!

Oh, yes!  For every $5 you donate you will automatically be entered in the drawings for many prizes.  If you decide to donate $20, you will have four chances to win, it is that easy!  Last year the prizes ranged from gift cards, Best Friends Animal Society gear, a Scentsy gift basket, a custom Origami Owl locket, baked goods from "Bake All The Things!" bakery and much more!  This year the prizes are already being offered and lets just say you do not want to miss out! :)  Winners will be chosen at random and will be notified by e-mail.  If I do not have your e-mail address, please e-mail me so that I do and I can send you your prize!

I would love to donate an item to be raffled off, what do I do?
